Moments showcases the work of award-winning artist Catherine MacDiarmid, and sculptor Jean Hilton, where they explore the human figure through different mediums, unveiling hidden narratives and capturing moments in everyday activities. This is a wonderful collaboration of two fantastic artists.

In September 2023, Brewery Arts held an open exhibition which showcased the artworks of 40 local artists. The exhibition was open to all local people, from professionals to amateur artists. The final 40 artworks were selected by a panel of judges. It was incredible to see the range and diversity of work, mediums and artists from the community coming together in one exhibition.

During this exhibition, Jean Hilton won the Judge’s Choice Award, and Catherine MacDiarmid won the People’s Choice Award, which was a community vote.

Our Open Exhibition returns this year, and we are now welcoming submissions from all artists in the local area. This is open to everyone in the community, from professional to amateur artists.
