This week at the Brewery Cinema…

New Releases:

2040 is an upbeat documentary about how the planet could look in the future if we make sustainable choices now. Join us for special screening introduced by director Damon Gameau, followed by a Q&A on Wed 20 Nov from 7.30pm!

Handpicked Features:

Take a nostalgic promenade to classic British holiday resorts with Britain on Film: Coast and Sea! From 1930’s surfing in Newquay, to Dover’s remaking after WWII, this incredible archive footage takes you on a journey around the UK’s wonderfully varied coast.

When a woman’s (Sienna Miller) teenage daughter goes missing, she must raise her infant grandson alone. The poignant drama, American Woman follows her story over the next 11 years as she seeks the answers behind her daughter’s disappearance.

The Day Shall Come is a laugh-out-loud thriller about an impoverished preacher who the FBI plan to turn into a criminal. Directed by Chris Morris, this satirical, sobering feature is based on 100 true stories.

A washed up-musician, a school teacher and a kids’ show personality join forces to protect children from an outbreak of zombies. Little monsters is a surprisingly charming comedy/horror film, starring Lupita Nyong’o, Josh Gad and Alexander England.

Also showing: Sorry We Missed You, Doctor Sleep, A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon & Joker.
