Ever wanted to be a star on the big screen? Ever wanted to create your own films and be a director, cinematographer, or script writer?
Whether you want to be in front or behind the camera, come and learn the skills to create your own short films and engage an audience through the lens of a camera.
Who is it for?
Anyone ages 12-16 can join, no acting or technical know-how is required, you’ll have the opportunity to explore all aspects of film.
What do I need to bring with me?
Please come in comfortable clothes that you can move in and bring your own water.

About the team
We are Film on the Brain; an independent northern production company, specialising in documentaries, promos, and creative social media content. Telling exciting and colourful stories is at the heart of what we do and we’re very excited to be returning to teach again at Brewery Arts. We look forward to welcoming back/meeting new participants and creating some wonderful films!

Audio Description (AD) is available in Screen 1. Infrared audio system is available in both Cinema Screens 1 and 2. Induction loops (T) are in place in the Theatre, please ask for assistance on the door.
Some live events may carry strict age restrictions, these are outlined on our website. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult at all times during evening events.
Unwaged* – For those in receipt of Universal Credit, Working Tax credits, Job Seekers Allowance or Income Support. Discounts may not be applicable on certain events.
