Arrive at the Cinema by 5:15 PM for the Ghost Walk, followed by a 7 PM screening of the classic Gothic supernatural horror-mystery film The Uninvited (1944). Your ticket covers both events!

Join your guide, Simon Kurt Unsworth, for a walk around Kendal to learn about its darker history. Why will dogs not go past a certain part of the river? Why do staff avoid the cellars of the Town Hall whenever they can? And just how many ghosts are there in the Ring o’ Bells pub? All these questions and more will be answered on this tour through the spooky history of the old grey town!

The walk will be followed by a screening of The Uninvited (1944) at 7 PM.

While vacationing on the English coast, composer Rick Fitzgerald (Ray Milland) and his sister Pamela (Ruth Hussey) find an an abandoned 18th-century house and decide to buy it.

The owner, Commander Beech (Donald Crisp), associates it with the tragic death of his daughter and is willing to part with it despite his granddaughter Stella’s (Gail Russell) objection.

The Fitzgeralds move in and soon find themselves, with the help of Stella, battling it out with two very prickly ghosts.
