Join Artist Helena McGregor for a festive lino printing workshop where you’ll explore the art of lino cut and create your own unique Christmas cards.
What will the class cover and how will it be taught?
In this workshop you will explore the lino printing process including cutting, layering colours, registering and printing from a lino block and using a brayer before accessing the printing press. With both one-to-one guidance and group tuition, you’ll develop your design and produce a set of beautiful, handcrafted cards to share this festive season.
This workshop is a great way to get creative and add a personal touch to your Christmas greetings.
Who is it suitable for?
All abilities are welcome.
What do I need to bring?
Please bring an apron and/or wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty. Bring your glasses, if you need them.
Are there any additional costs?
All materials and equipment are included in the price.

This course will be held in Studio 3.
About the tutor
Helena is a visual artist, specialising in printmaking, and a qualified Secondary Art and Design Practitioner with over 10 years of experience in UK and International Schools, teaching 11-18-year-olds in a range of creative subjects. She also has experience in teaching Primary Art, running art CPD sessions and adult art workshops.
