Summer Sundays are back for 2023. Enjoy some incredible bands rocking out in our garden free this summer!
Bring your family and friends (and the sunshine if you can) to enjoy some quality entertainment in Kendal’s biggest beer garden.
Food and drink will be available to purchase at every Summer Sundays gig. Brewery Arts is a licensed premises. Any food and drink consumed on the premises must be purchased from Brewery Arts.
No booking is required.
30 July | High Fade | 2-4pm
High Fade are Scotland’s freshest offering in the new-era of Funk and Disco, quickly rising in the UK funk scene.
After being featured on “Jazz Nights” with Seonaid Aitken, BBC ONE and BBC RADIO 6 Music with their first release “Scorpion”, the demand has risen for High Fade’s incomparable sound. Poised to take over in 2023 with a monster lineup of releases set.
6 August | Uncle Carbunkle | 2-4pm
Summer Sunday regulars and everyone’s favourite ‘Cyber Skiffle’ band, Uncle Carbunkle continue the party with their high-energy performance!
13 August | OTT | 2-4pm
OTT are a professional four-piece band who know how to put on a party. Expect quality tunes and an exceptional delivery!
20 August | Bad Transmission | 2-4pm
Bad Transmission, the Ska and hiphop fusion band, hailing from Ulverston are next on the Summer Sundays lineup. As seen at festivals such as Boomtown, Beatherder, Solfest, Bearded Theory, Eskfest and tour support for The Selecter, Bad Transmission gets the crowd skanking wherever they go.
27 August | The Seals | 2-4pm
The Seals need no introduction, these well-loved Brewery Arts regulars are an energetic five-piece guitar band with over 18 years live experience playing together with a solid reputation for delivering a huge sound and explosive live show you won’t forget.
You will most definitely need your dancing shoes ready for this one.
3 September | Meetwood Flac | 2-4pm
We end our season of Summer Sundays season on high with a band of ‘Dreams’ and a ‘Landslide’ favourite… the fantastic Meetwood Flac! This fresh tribute to the legendary Fleetwood Mac, bring all the hits to the stage with all the energy of the original band!

All our ticket prices include a 50p-£1 commission. This fee helps us continue to fund our diverse programme. Creative learning classes & workshops are exempt.
Audio Description (AD) is available in Screen 1. Infrared audio system is available in both Cinema Screens 1 and 2. Induction loops (T) are in place in the Theatre, please ask for assistance on the door.
Some live events may carry strict age restrictions, these are outlined on our website. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult at all times during evening events.
