Develop longer life drawing compositions with thematic and skill-extension based poses. You will be guided through a different life drawing idea each week, designed to extend your practice and confidence with life drawing, guided by our expert tutor.
What will the course cover and how will it be taught?
Each session will be focusing on a different idea within life drawing, such as recreating a famous pose, exploring movement or foreshortening, or simply developing tone and structure. The sessions will be structured with a series of warm up drawings and a long drawing. Individual guidance will be given, and personal needs nurtured through one-to-one with the tutor, and as such a variety of experience will be catered for. Good life room practice such as measuring and observation skills, mark-making, and media exploration, will be always encouraged.
