Interested in Digital Music Production and DJ skills? Aged 11-16?

BYMM will be a series of free weekly sessions at our music venue in collaboration with Horizon Studios. These sessions will feature Ableton software and have guidance from industry professionals to produce your music.

Running on Tuesdays from 4.30pm to 6pm between 28 April and 7 July, sessions will take place at Brewery Arts in Kendal and will provide hands-on experience using industry-standard equipment and software.

Sessions will explore Beat Making and Rhythm Programming, Mixing Fundamentals, DJ Equipment set-up, Beatmatching, Mixing, Transitions and Blending.

These sessions are for young people aged 11-16 years who:

  • Have an interest in music and would like to develop their skills and/or
  • Are eligible for Pupil Premium, and/or
  • Have SEND, and/or
  • Are the child of a currently or formerly serving armed forces and/or
  • May be at risk of becoming involved in the youth justice system

No previous experience necessary.
