If you can hold a conversation in Spanish and would like to converse more freely about history, social events, economic issues and the politics of Spain today, then this is the course for you. We will also cover a wider range of topics to suit your interests, such as art, fiestas, culture and others that you are interested in and might like to request.
More grammatical structures will be covered in a light-hearted and enjoyable approach to Spanish with students encouraged to develop all four language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing.

What will the course or workshop cover and how will it be taught?
We will split the teaching time into listening exercises, conversation & games activities to develop your oral skills, reading tasks and some grammar explanations. We will work with grammar, reading & writing exercises at home. The topics covered will be around the issues of today, in Spain or around the world.
Your tutor will discuss the course content with the class and may make some adjustments to the syllabus based on the needs of the group. She will also try to accommodate individual requirements where possible.

About the tutor
Pilar Valera graduated in Politics and has taught for more than 20 years from beginners to advance level, exam and non-exam courses and a range of ages and abilities.She is from Madrid and although she lives here she runs study-breaks in Spain for adults and summer courses for children.
