Cinema

Goat

A family-friendly animated adventure!

Little ones will love Goat, a big-hearted adventure about Will, a small goat with even bigger dreams of playing roarball in the big arena. Voiced by Stranger Things star Caleb McLaughlin, this is a feel-good film perfect for a half-term treat.

Wuthering Heights

Emerald Fennell reimagines Emily Brontë’s timeless classic in a bold, intoxicating vision of passion and ruin. Set on the unforgiving Yorkshire moors, Wuthering Heights follows the destructive love between Heathcliff and Catherine Earnshaw – a romance fuelled by obsession, class divide, and longing that refuses to fade.

The History of Sound

The History of Sound is a lyrical love story that follows two young men brought together by folk music in the shadow of the First World War. As they travel through rural New England collecting songs, their bond deepens into a love that lingers long after the music fades.

Japan Foundation Touring Programme 2026

Discover the UK’s biggest festival of Japanese cinema at Brewery Arts. The Japan Foundation Touring Film Programme returns with an unmissable season of Japanese filmmaking.

The Final Piece

Showing 19 Feb | 8pm

Deep in the mountains, a corpse and a rare shogi piece spark a high-stakes investigation. As suspicion falls on rising shogi star Keisuke, his carefully constructed image begins to unravel, exposing fractured relationships and long-buried wounds.

Exhibitions

Make time to explore our exhibition spaces this half-term.

In the Sugarstore Gallery, discover Held by Lela Harris – a beautiful and thought-provoking meditation on belonging, using fractured paper and fluid ink to explore connection and identity.

Downstairs in the Foyer, Stuart Irving’s Light–Shape–Distance reimagines natural landscapes and architecture as dreamlike spaces. With bold brushstrokes reminiscent of Turner and Kandinsky, Irving’s work is striking, immersive, and distinctly his own.
