Our talented students are delighted to present Shrek The Musical, a hilarious and heart-warming stage adaptation of the beloved DreamWorks film. Packed with larger-than-life characters, catchy songs and plenty of fairy-tale fun, this vibrant production brings the story of everyone’s favourite unlikely hero to life on stage.

Join Shrek, a grumpy but loveable ogre who enjoys the quiet life in his swamp, until a group of fairy-tale creatures suddenly arrive and turn his world upside down. In order to reclaim his home, Shrek agrees to help the scheming Lord Farquaad by rescuing the spirited Princess Fiona from a dragon-guarded tower. Along the way he is joined by the endlessly talkative Donkey, and the unlikely pair embark on an adventure filled with humour, surprises and unforgettable characters.

Featuring well-known fairy-tale favourites, lively choreography and a fantastic musical score including songs such as I’m a BelieverStory of My Life and Freak FlagShrek The Musical celebrates individuality, friendship and the importance of accepting who you truly are. As Shrek, Fiona and Donkey discover, sometimes the greatest adventures help us see that what makes us different is what makes us special.

Full of humour, heart and spectacular musical moments, Shrek The Musical promises an entertaining and uplifting evening for audiences of all ages. Join us for this colourful celebration of friendship, courage and the magic of theatre.
