Enhance your home by designing and creating your own stunning lampshade using some simple printmaking techniques.
What will the course or workshop cover and how will it be taught?
You will learn simple printmaking techniques such as linocut and stencil making.
By the end of the workshop you will have a unique lampshade to decorate your home.
What do I need to bring with me?
All equipment will be provided.
Fabric is provided but you may want to supply your own, plain linen or cotton is preferable, it could be coloured but a pastel shade works better.
Designs, sketchbooks or notebooks. Stencils if you have them
Disposable gloves, apron, sharp scissors, craft knife or scalpel.
Please bring a pen, notebook and your glasses, if you need them.
Are there any additional costs?
The cost of the lampshade kit and backing which will be between £10-15 dependent on size chosen. This will be payable directly to the tutor on the day.
