Autumn is the perfect season to slow down, try something new, and connect with others through creativity.
Our Creative Learning workshops are designed to welcome beginners and improvers alike, providing you with the opportunity to explore a new skill in a relaxed and friendly setting. Whether you’re looking to experiment with colour, play with texture, or take some time out for yourself, there’s a workshop waiting for you.
Each session is led by experienced tutors who guide you step by step, from demonstrations and practical exercises to plenty of hands-on practice. You don’t need any prior experience, just curiosity and a willingness to have a go. Alongside learning a skill, our workshops are a great way to meet like-minded people and enjoy the creative process together.
This autumn, you can explore:
Botanical Printing (4 October): Experiment with printing directly from plants and natural forms.
Introduction to Acrylics (11 October): Learn colour mixing, layering, and painting techniques.
Introduction to Stained Glass (25 October): Create your very own small stained glass panel.
Mono Printing (1 November): Discover playful ways to make single-image prints using masks, stencils, and colour layering.
Introduction to Watercolours (8 November): Build confidence in watercolour painting through guided exercises and a final project.
Introduction to Life Drawing (6 December): Take your life drawing skills to another level, improving accuracy, measuring, mark making and tone.
No matter which workshop you choose, you’ll leave with new skills, creative confidence, and work you’ve made by hand.
