Cult horror, supernatural cinema and big-screen scares creep into our Cinema this autumn with Cine-Macabre, a season of horror favourites, chilling classics and Halloween specials. From werewolves and zombies to ghost stories and landmark anniversary screenings, there’s plenty to sink your teeth into.
What’s On
We kick off with the 50th Anniversary of The Omen (7 October), followed by British horror favourite Dog Soldiers (14 October), Zombie Flesh Eaters (22 October) and Japanese horror Pulse (28 October). Younger film fans can also join us for Hocus Pocus & Frightful Family Crafts (24 October), combining the Halloween favourite with some suitably spooky crafting.
Spooky Specials
As Halloween approaches, settle in for a double bill of Creepshow and Trick ’r Treat (30 October), before John Carpenter’s Halloween takes over our big screen (31 October).
The scares continue into November with The Uninvited + Kendal Ghost Walk (1 November), followed by two landmark anniversary screenings – Manhunter (4 November) and The Silence of the Lambs (10 November).
