About our guest
Clare Shaw is a poet with four collections poetry collections published by Bloodaxe Books. Their new collection is Towards a General Theory of Love was published in May 2022. Their previous collections are Straight Ahead (2006), Head On (2012) and Flood(2018). Clare Shaw is also co-director of Kendal Poetry Festival.
Please email annthepoet@gmail.com to book your open mic spot of up to 4 mins including introductions. Please include your poems/stories typed in a Word document so this can be screen shared during your performance, please state if you will be attending live or on Zoom.

Audio Description (AD) is available in Screen 1. Infrared audio system is available in both Cinema Screens 1 and 2. Induction loops (T) are in place in the Theatre, please ask for assistance on the door.
Some live events may carry strict age restrictions, these are outlined on our website. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult at all times during evening events.
