A night for spoken word artists, novelists, storytellers, comedians and anyone with something to say.
Open mic performers can sign up in advance by emailing annthepoet@gmail.com. Limited open mic places. Open mic performers have maximum of 4 minutes
This month our guests are the poet Jonathan Humble and a Wigan-based writer and performer Louise Fazackerley who has been hailed by poets ranging from Ian McMillan to Attila the Stockbroker as one of the most engaging and accessible spoken word artists in the UK. You may have seen her here at the Brewery supporting John Cooper Clarke a couple of years ago.
Your confirmation email will contain your Zoom link, meeting ID and password. Our Zoom events are Pay What You Decide and therefore there is no fee at the point of purchase. Please donate via the PayPal pool the link is on your confirmation email, the PayPal pool will remain open until a couple of days after the event.

All our ticket prices include a 50p-£1 commission. This fee helps us continue to fund our diverse programme. Creative learning classes & workshops are exempt.
Audio Description (AD) is available in Screen 1. Infrared audio system is available in both Cinema Screens 1 and 2. Induction loops (T) are in place in the Theatre, please ask for assistance on the door.
Some live events may carry strict age restrictions, these are outlined on our website. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult at all times during evening events.
Unwaged* – For those in receipt of Universal Credit, Working Tax credits, Job Seekers Allowance or Income Support. Discounts may not be applicable on certain events.
