by Alan O’Cain | Sugar Store Gallery | Free

O’Cain’s long-term project involves the creation of a portrait series inspired by his correspondence with a British-born businessman and art collector convicted of securities fraud in 2008, and now serving a 16-year sentence in a US jail. Each piece is based on a single photograph of this man and his wife taken while under house arrest pending trial.
