Join Helen Clues, Mosaic artist, to create beautiful mosaic pieces using fabulous materials in this workshop. There will be a choice of projects to choose from, all equipment and materials, including ceramics and glass, are provided and you will leave with a finished mosaic for indoor display.
What will the class cover and how will it be taught?
In this workshop we will discover the possibilities of creating beautiful mosaics. Working with a variety of mosaic materials, including vintage crockery, coloured glass and ceramic, and other collected treasures, you will work with the direct method of creating mosaics for interior display.
There will be a choice of projects and during the session you will learn how to plan your design, choose, cut, shape and assemble your piece. We will then grout polish and finish the projects later in the afternoon. All materials and fixings for hanging your finished piece are included.

About the tutor
Helen Clues is a mosaic artist living and working in West Cumbria, England. She trained in Art & Design in Carlisle in the 1990’s where her passion for materials and processes began. Always searching for, experimenting with and combining different media. Her mosaic work is decorative and functional, using found, collected and traditional materials. Helen is represented by galleries throughout the UK and runs workshops, with over 20 years experience she thrives on encouraging others to explore their own creative potential.
