Starts 8pm | Pay What You Decide | Malt Room
Improvisational performances, collaboration and discussion, by creatives aged 18-30
From contact improvisation through movement to accidental harmonies between musicians, the scratch night is an opportunity for local artists to share their practice and for the community to enjoy seeing some work in progress in an informal setting. This is also a networking evening with the hope to encourage future collaborations between local artists. The evening will consist of improvisational jams between Musicians, Dancers and Artists, as well as scratch performances from three local artists developing new projects.
Whether you’re a budding dance artist, writer, theatre maker or music lover, expect a sociable evening of talks, discussion and drinks.
Future Creatives is open to everyone, but we particularly encourage people aged 18-30 to attend, as we want to ensure young people have opportunities to thrive in the arts and creative industries. At the event you’ll be able to watch improvisations, give feedback to the performers, ask questions and meet the community over a drink.
The event is curated and coordinated by dance artists Mena Dickson and Emily Davies, who will be in discussion with Miriam Randall, Brewery Arts CEO & Artistic Director.
Bar open from 7pm.
Tickets are Pay What You Decide with a suggested price of £3.
