French Year 5 concentrates on spoken French in a friendly atmosphere. It is for students who have studied French for at least 5 years or have some experience of the language.
If you wish to enrol on this course for the first time in September, please contact the Brewery to be put in touch with the tutor to ensure this is the right level for you.

What will the course or workshop cover and how will it be taught?
During the course, you will learn to describe your interests and leisure, organise an outing, express your ideas on a range of topics, talk about the present, past and future events.
A wide range of activities will be used to encourage all students to participate and progress: listening and repeating, question and answer, reading dialogues, role-plays, communication games and written exercises.

Please note there are no classes during weeks beginning 25 October and 15 November.
What do I need to bring with me?
Please bring a pen, a notebook, a French dictionary if you have one and your glasses, if you need them.

About the tutor
Dominique Pluskwa is a native French speaker, was born in Paris and studied History at La Sorbonne. She moved to Kendal in 1999 and has taught French since 2002, both privately and for small groups as well as at the Brewery.
