Tutor Eric Pye | Fee £126 | Sessions 10
Ideal for those with a basic knowledge but really want to get to grips with the more advanced settings their camera has to offer.
What will the course or workshop cover and how will it be taught?
By the end of the course/workshop, you will rarely use your camera on Program mode. You will master the various controls your camera has to offer and know when to use them in different situations to take the photographs you really want. To complement this you will also learn how to use composition techniques suited to a variety of photographic styles.
What do I need to bring with me?
You will need a digital camera, its instruction manual (a physical copy or access to a digital copy), memory card, clothes suitable for going outside and some means of making notes. A tripod may be helpful for some of the sessions but is by no means a necessity.
Are there any additional costs?
There is the option of printing 6 images for approximately £20, payable directly to the tutor. The tutor will discuss this with students during the course.
About the tutor
Eric is a photographer who likes to combine his love of the outdoors with a desire to produce something creative. He likes to try and convey something about the places in his images and does this with traditional landscape shots as well as more abstract ideas using camera movement and multiple exposures. As well as creating his own images, Eric now puts his years as a school teacher to good use teaching photography to groups, individuals and here at the Brewery. You can find out more about him and his work at www.ericpyephotography.co.uk or on Facebook as Eric Pye Photography.
