Our traditional festive feast of laughs from some of the best stand up comedians in the North.

Rob Rouse

Former geography teacher ROB ROUSE has been a mainstay of the circuit since winning the prestigious ‘So You Think You’re Funny?’ competition in 1998. A natural performer, Rob has many voices in his head and, when unleashed, his shows become more like a hysterically funny play than one man telling very funny tales.

TV includes 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Spoons, The Friday Night Project, Grown-Ups and Comedy Shuffle with Rob Rouse.

Angela Barnes

Angela won the prestigious BBC New Comedy Award in front of an audience of industry movers and shakers including Sarah Millican and Stephen K Amos. Known to thousands through her weekly appearances on Channel 4′s Friday night showStand Up For The Week. She’s also appeared on the telly alongside Eddie Izzard Russell Kane’s , appeared on BBC’s  Russell Howard’s Good News , developed her own series with BBC Radio Comedy, and performed at the Latitude Festival, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and written for Radio 4’s The News Quiz of which she is a long time fan.
