‘The Gingerbread Man’ is a celebration and showcase of the artwork created by young artists from 0-16 years of age who attend Brewery Youth Arts classes, including Brewery Tots: Mini Mess Makers, Mini Art Explorers, Art Explorers, Makers Club, Artseen and Artseen Advanced.
The young people have worked in collaboration with local artist, Grace Herron, to create this exhibition in support of the Brewery Arts Christmas Show, The Gingerbread Man, by Stuff and Nonsense Theatre Company.
During their visual arts classes, the young people have explored a variety of media including ceramics, painting, drawing and illustration, gelli plate printing, various 3D sculptural materials, and more, with an emphasis on exploratory and creative play for the younger participants. The participants have worked extremely hard, with endless creativity and imagination, to take the audience on a magical Gingerbread journey in the Brewery Youth Arts Winter Exhibition: The Gingerbread Man.
