Young Artists Open Exhibition 2025

We invite you to explore Kendal from the individual viewpoints of local Young Artists, aged 4 – 18 years, who have submitted their work for our first-ever Young Artist Open Exhibition.

The artists have entered artworks of various forms, including paintings, sculptures, photography, abstract and digital work under the theme of ‘Your Kendal’.  Inspiration has been taken from people, favourite places, buildings, beautiful natural spaces, fond memories, or a complete reimagining of the town in a fantastical way.  Come and celebrate our local young artists with this showcase of their talent.

These selected works will be exhibited in the Brewery Arts Sugar Store Gallery from 25 July to 13 September 2025.

Exhibition Timeline:

• 7^th April – submissions open, firstly submission forms must be completed on the exhibition webpage + images sent to exhibitions@breweryarts.co.uk
• 27^th Jun – Final submission date
• 1^st – 11^th Jul – Selection panel view work and make decisions
• 11^th Jul – Artists advised of selection decisions
• 15^th – 18^th Jul – Selected works to be delivered to BA between 3pm and 5pm
• 22^nd, 23^rd & 24^th Jul – Hanging / Installation of Exhibition
• 25^th Jul – Exhibition Opens
• 25^th Jul – Private View Event, 4pm-5.30pm
• 13^th Sep– Exhibition Ends
• 15^th Sep– Exhibition uninstalled
• 16-19^th Sep – Collection of artwork between 11 and 1pm
