Adult Performance Project is an opportunity to create a contemporary dance piece for Brewery Arts Community Dance Platform on Saturday 27 June 2026.
You’ll work with experienced dance artist Emily Davies to explore creative processes as you collectively choreograph the performance piece. The project will develop and enhance your movement skills and creativity.
What will the class cover and how will it be taught?
Participants can expect to learn choreography, take part in creative tasks and develop movement material individually and in groups.
Participants need to be available for the majority of the session dates and the final performance date to take part in this project.
This open-level project is suitable for participants who are open to performing for an audience. The convenient timing of the session is so our current adult dancers can participate straight after their Get Moving class!
Important Information
This course will happen in Studio 2. There are no sessions during half term 25-29 May.
What do I need to bring?
Please wear clothes that are comfortable to move in, and please be prepared to dance in bare feet. You will need a bottle of water too.
