ACTING UP WORKSHOP AND MEET OUR THEATRE PROGRAMMER!
Have you always wanted to try your hand at acting? Learn more about theatre? Meet new people? Then come along and try this one-off workshop to develop new skills, stretch your creativity, build your confidence and have lots of fun.
Following the workshop come and have a chat and a brew with Conrad Lynch, our Theatre Programmer, about all things theatre at the Brewery: hear all about his exciting plans with innovative companies like imitating the dog; how you can get involved with what we offer; what you might be interested in e.g. regular classes, a theatre club, more community productions or partnerships? We really want to hear all of your creative ideas and thoughts about theatre in Kendal and South Lakeland. Tea, coffee and biscuits provided.
What do I need to bring with me?
Just wear comfortable clothing and footwear and bring a bottle of water, and an open mind!

About the tutor
Madeleine Joseph is a classically trained actress with broad professional experience playing a wide range of characters on many different stages both in the UK and overseas.

All our ticket prices include a 50p commission. This fee helps us continue to fund our diverse programme. Creative learning classes & workshops are exempt.
Audio Description (AD) is available in Screen 1. Infrared audio system is available in both Cinema Screens 1 and 2. Induction loops (T) are in place in the Theatre, please ask for assistance on the door.
Some live events may carry strict age restrictions, these are outlined on our website. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult at all times during evening events.
