As we celebrate International Women’s Day 2026, we’re shining a spotlight on some of the incredible women performing in our 2026 programme at Brewery Arts. From iconic artists with decades of influence to innovative performers redefining modern sound, these upcoming shows promise unforgettable nights of live music.

We’re proud not only to showcase female artists on our stages, but also to have a brilliant team of women working behind the scenes at Brewery Arts.

Laetitia Sadier

2 April | Doors 7.30pm

Founding member of avant-pop band Stereolab, Laetitia Sadier brings ethereal guitar, soaring vocals, and poetic lyricism to the stage. Widely regarded as one of the most innovative and influential musicians of her generation, Sadier has shaped a distinctive sound that blends experimental pop with sharp, thought-provoking songwriting.

Mishra Ft. Deepa Shakthi

4 April | Doors 7.30pm

Award-winning global folk band Mishra joined forces with international fusion vocalist Deepa Shakthi to create a vibrant cross-cultural collaboration. Together they blend multilingual folk songs, swirling Celtic melodies and hypnotic qawwali grooves, showcasing Shakthi’s powerful voice and decades of experience performing music from the Indian subcontinent.

Future Creatives: Maya Kally + Clara Pople

11 April | Doors 7.30pm

Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Maya Kally blends folk, jazz, country and indie influences with poetic lyricism, following her studies in jazz vocals and classical piano at Leeds Conservatoire. She is joined by Celtic trip-pop vocalist Clara Pople, whose atmospheric sound fuses ghostly folk melodies with shadowy trip-hop rhythms, drawing comparisons to London Grammar, Massive Attack and Florence + The Machine.

Jane Weaver: ‘The Fallen By Watchbird’ 15th Anniversary Tour

16 April | Doors 7.30pm

Known for her pioneering vision, Jane Weaver’s resilient songwriting consistently lauds her as a powerful force with lasting cult appeal. For over 20 years, she has enchanted audiences with her tapestry of psychedelic femme-folk-rock, steeped in synths and mysticism.

Lady Maisery

2 May | Doors 7.30pm

Vocal harmony trio Lady Maisery – comprising Rowan Rheingans, Hazel Askew and Hannah James – have captivated audiences across the UK and Europe for over a decade. Blending multi-instrumental skill with powerful storytelling, their music offers a fresh, adventurous take on traditional folk, exploring themes of sisterhood, resilience and the joy of song.

P.P. Arnold

8 May | Doors 7.30pm

Known as London’s “First Lady of Soul”, P.P. Arnold is heading to Brewery Arts for an intimate evening of songs and stories. She has accumulated a lifetime of show-stopping performances in the studio and on stage, starting as an Ikette with the Ike & Tina Turner Revue.

Barbara Dickson

16 May | Doors 7pm

Barbara Dickson brings an evening of beautiful songs and stories to Brewery Arts, drawing on her folk roots, contemporary favourites, and some of her best-loved classics. Emerging from the vibrant folk scene of the late 1960s, she has built an extraordinary career and remains one of Scotland’s most treasured voices, with seventeen Platinum and Gold albums to her name.

Nora Brown & Stephanie Coleman

27 May | Doors 7.30pm

Banjo player Nora Brown and acclaimed fiddler Stephanie Coleman share a rich musical partnership rooted in the old-time traditions of the Appalachian South. First brought together through Brooklyn’s vibrant folk scene, the duo blend banjo and fiddle to breathe new life into traditional songs, performing together at renowned festivals across the US and beyond.

She Drew The Gun

12 June | Doors 7.30pm 

Driven by Louisa Roach, She Drew The Gun explores a visceral musical world informed by influences ranging from 80s electronica and hip-hop to political poetry and cosmic Scouse psychedelia, all from the banks of the Mersey.

Sian

20 June | Doors 7.30pm

Formed in 2016 to celebrate Gaelic songs composed by women, Sian released their self-titled debut album in tribute to the women who shared their traditional songs with them. Their rich vocal harmonies and contemporary folk sound have drawn comparisons to The Staves and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.
