LOWES Ignite The Malt Room with Exclusive Sold Out Show

Published on 14th March 2023

Local Electro-Pop Trio, LOWES, performed a one-off show, to a sold-out Malt Room crowd on Friday, 10 March.

LOWES are vocalist Evie Plumb from Kendal and producer/multi-instrumentalists Jamie Walker and Luke Paget from Lancaster.

The band began back in 2018 with the highly-successful soundcloud single ‘Awake At Night’ and have since gone on to garner frequent national radio support, feature on huge collaborative singles with DJs, and rack up millions of streams on Spotify.

The trio performed a special show at Brewery Arts featuring a selection of their dance hits as well as new tracks released as recently as January this year. This setlist included the euphoric collaboration ‘Easier’ with DJ and producer Camelphat, BBC Radio 1’s ‘Hottest Record’, ‘Lucid Love’, and the brand new solo single ‘Game of Love’, all receiving an incredible reaction from the crowd.

In a Twitter post Lowes, said: “Friday was incredible – we loved every hot fuzzy sold out second of that show, the energy, atmosphere, unity, and love in that room was absolute fire”.

Evie’s powerful vocals (named Dance Vocalist of the year at 2021’s Radio 1 Dance Awards) and stage presence, combined with the live production from Jamie and Luke made for an unforgettable experience for many.

Support on the night came from local band, Vacant Weekend, who did an impressive job getting the night underway. The band will return to Brewery Arts again as part of a special Cosmic Glue takeover with Seven Seals, Deathretro, and Emre (with Sam Cooper).

LOWES also provided an insightful workshop experience for Kendal College students in our studio on the Thursday (9 March), to discuss songwriting and production.

Here are some shots we took from the night. Enjoyed the show? Join our mailing list here today to be the first to hear when similar events are on sale!
