We are delighted to announce an exciting new partnership with Fell Brewery, bringing together Kendal’s beloved arts centre and one of Cumbria’s leading independent breweries.
Based in Flookburgh, Fell Brewery has bars in Kendal and Penrith, alongside three locations in Manchester. The brewery is known for combining forward-thinking ideas with the rich traditions of Northern brewing.
The new partnership will see Fell beers become a more prominent part of the drinks offering here at Brewery Arts, alongside new branding and activity across the venue.
Michael Dixey, Managing Director at Fell Brewery
“We’re delighted to be partnering with Brewery Arts, a venue that plays such an important role in Kendal’s cultural and community life. As a South Cumbrian brewery, this feels like a natural collaboration, bringing together local beer, creativity and shared values in one of the town’s best-loved spaces.
The new Fell x Brewery Arts bar branding gives us a brilliant platform to showcase Fell beers to a wider audience, while supporting a venue that attracts visitors from across Cumbria and beyond. Sustainability and community are central to how we operate, so we’re excited to build a partnership that feels meaningful, local and long term”
Cate Bentley, Operations Director at Brewery Arts
“We are absolutely delighted to be partnering with local heroes Fell Brewery. Their enthusiasm for this project and the work they have put into bringing this very special collaboration to life is inspiring. Huge thanks are due to Watson, Ben and our new Head of Hospitality Matt Freeman for making this happen in such a short space of time. Championing local is our passion and it’s a privilege to work with such amazing partners.”
The partnership launches with Summer Sundays, our annual series of outdoor live music events taking place throughout August. Ahead of the events, the Fell team have refreshed both the Malt Room and Foyer Bars.
Look out for the refurbished Foyer bar and a full Fell takeover of the Malt Room Bar, back by popular demand. Both will be open across all five Summer Sundays alongside three additional serving points, giving visitors five places to choose from across the venue and helping make this year’s festival the biggest yet.
The partnership will continue beyond Summer Sundays, with Fell beers gaining a greater presence across Brewery Arts and more activity between the two organisations to come. Visit Brewery Arts this August to explore the refreshed spaces, enjoy local beer, and experience the new partnership for yourself.
