Summer Sundays are bigger and better than ever this summer!
With just a few weeks to go until our first event, we’re getting ready for five afternoons of live music from bands we know you love, all performing in the garden from 2-4pm.
Festival food and drink will be available to purchase at every Summer Sundays event, with food served until 6.30pm and bars open until 7pm, so you can stick around and enjoy the atmosphere a little longer.
The festival feeling will continue after each live set with tunes in the garden, and on 2 & 30 August, a live DJ will keep the grooves going into the evening.
Summer Sundays have always been free for our community, and this year we’re inviting you to Pay What You Decide on entry, with a suggested £2 donation helping us keep events like this going. As a charity, every donation makes a difference.
Fell X Brewery Arts
We’re excited to announce a new partnership with Fell Brewery, bringing together two Kendal favourites. Based in Flookburgh, with a bar here in Kendal, Fell combines forward-thinking ideas with the rich traditions of Northern brewing.
The partnership begins at Summer Sundays, where Fell have refreshed our Malt Room and Foyer Bars. Both will be open across all five events alongside our three other bars, giving you five bars to choose from!
Fell have also given their classic refreshing lager a Summer Sundays twist with a special rebrand: Summer Sunday Lager.

The legendary Cumbrian party band return to open and close Summer Sundays 2026. The Seals have been entertaining crowds in our garden for over 10 years, bringing classic up-tempo songs, rocking energy and plenty of feel-good favourites.
Meetwood Flac
9 August | 2-4pm | Garden
If you’re yet to experience the thrill of a Meetwood Flac show, prepare to be blown away. Expect your favourite Fleetwood Mac hits, played with flair, energy and authenticity from this hugely popular Cumbrian five-piece.
Atomic Brass
16 August | 2-4pm | Garden
Atomic Brass create their unique sound by reimagining popular tunes from across pop, rock, indie and dance, blending them with funky grooves and the odd solo chucked in for good measure.
Bad Transmission
23 August | 2-4pm | Garden
Bad Transmission are a ska, reggae and hip-hop band from Ulverston, Cumbria. This close-knit group of friends set out to create a band whose sole purpose is fun, so expect rural rhymes, skanking times and a seriously good atmosphere.
