Join Textile Artist, Libby Gallagher, for a festive weaving workshop where you will weave with the seasonal landscape to design and create all natural Christmas décor.
What will the class cover and how will it be taught?
In this workshop, you will explore the meditative, slow-making technique of tapestry hand-weaving using natural fibre yarns, such as linen, wool and hemp, as well as dried and fresh festive foliage. With both one-to-one guidance and group tuition, you will develop your design and produce all-natural, handcrafted hanging decorations for your home or as a perfect handmade gift for a loved one this festive season.

All abilities are welcome.

About the tutor
Libby is a local textile artist, specialising in hand-woven contemporary textiles. Inspired by the Lake District’s natural landscape, Libby’s practice celebrates regenerative and circular plant-based textile materials and processes.
