Tuesdays | 11.30am-12.30pm | Aimed at over 60’s
Mature Movers is a welcoming dance class aimed at adults aged 60+, open to all abilities and experience levels. Through creative movement, gentle dance exercises and a variety of music and dance styles, participants will improve mobility, coordination and confidence while enjoying the many physical and mental benefits of movement.
With a focus on enjoyment rather than perfection, this friendly and inclusive class offers a relaxed, supportive and sociable space to stay active, express yourself and connect with others through dance.

What do I need to bring with me?
Please come ready to dance in comfortable clothes that you can move in, long hair should be tied back as well as jewellery removed. Bring your own water in a bottle.

Limitless Platform | Autumn Term
Perform as part of Brewery Arts’ Limitless platform, a dedicated, inclusive performance event celebrating the creativity, connection, and artistic achievements of older individuals. Featuring pieces created by groups based locally, regionally and further afield, it is an opportunity to perform on a professional stage, complete with lighting, sound and a welcoming audience.
Community Dance Platform | Summer Term
An opportunity for local dance groups to perform alongside our in-house Brewery Arts dancers. Celebrate dance across different ages, styles and communities from across the local area and beyond, on a professional stage with lighting, sound and a welcoming audience.
Important Information
This course will be held in Studio 1. There are no sessions during half term 26-30 October & 16-20 November.
About the tutor
A previous Brewery Youth Dance member, Emily has been delivering sessions at The Brewery, like Mature Movers, as well as other settings, since gaining her Dance degree in 2016. She enjoys sharing her love of dance with those she teaches. Emily’s style of movement is grounded in contemporary technique, creative dance and human connection, both in the studio and with an audience.
