Houses have secrets. Some are hidden in the memories of those who lived in them, others in the house itself; the atmosphere of each room is altered forever by what the walls have seen, and some are hidden under a squeaky floorboard in the bedroom.

This dark comedy by Chris Jones and the Act Your Age group is set in a house that’s for sale, visited by a succession of couples, husbands and wives, friends, sisters, and even a dashing malefactor. Some have come to exorcise demons from old lives, others to escape problems they can’t shake off, some are looking for buried treasure, and some just want to fool around in the pantry! All these different motivations collide in dramatic and hilarious fashion, and no one leaves this open house quite the same as when they entered…
