Tsuumi Sound System are one of Finland’s leading contemporary folk ensembles, blending Nordic folk traditions with a rich mix of global influences to create an energetic, distinctive sound.
Having performed in over 20 countries, this seven-piece band have built an international reputation for their exhilarating live shows, described as “volcanic” and “outrageous”. Combining fiddle, accordion, harmonium, guitars, saxophones, double bass and percussion, their music brings together intricate melodies, infectious rhythms and bold arrangements.
With four acclaimed studio albums and collaborations with artists including Väsen, Tsuumi Sound System continue to push the boundaries of contemporary folk music. Expect virtuosic musicianship, irresistible rhythms and a vibrant live performance guaranteed to get your feet moving.
