The Last Showgirl is a poignant story of resilience, rhinestones, and feathers. Starring Pamela Anderson as Shelley, a glamorous showgirl forced to rethink her future when her 30-year-running show suddenly closes.

Anderson of course excels in the role of Shelley, a seasoned performer whose world is turned upside down as her beloved Razzle Dazzle show comes to an end. With decades of stage experience, Shelley’s identity has undoubtedly been shaped by the spotlight. In a performance full of depth, Anderson brings to life the complex emotions of loss and the overall journey of reinvention.

A wistful showcase for Pamela Anderson in a refreshingly dramatic role. The Last Showgirl pays homage to the working class of Las Vegas with a superb collection of performances.

Screen 3 is now here

“A huge moment for Anderson after regaining control of her narrative” The Guardian

“There is something raw and honest in all of Shelly’s self-effacing giggles.” The Independent

“This reflection on womanhood boasts noteworthy performances across the board” Empire

“Ultimately, the film is sort of a second-coming-of-age story: a confronting, heartbreaking character study of a woman who dedicated her life to a passion that no one else ever really saw much value in.” Stylist
