Peat & Diesel

Music
Saturday 8th March 2025

Doors 7.30pm | Tickets £24 | Malt Room Standing

The Peat & Diesel boys have been back at their day jobs having a wee break from touring but are now looking forward to getting ‘Back on the Horse’. They will be back out on the road for a couple of weeks in November, before returning to the studio to work on more new music over the winter months.

2025 kicks off in style, with their biggest Glasgow show to date and includes the honour of being the first act to play the mighty Emirates Arena as part of Celtic Connections.  They then embark on a wee tour across the UK, returning to some cities they’ve not been to in a couple of years. If you’ve not experienced the feeling and energy of a Peat & Diesel concert, you’ve not lived!!!

“As with all good power trios they are punchy and to the point.” Is This Music?

“Peat & Diesel are a unique blend of traditional folk music, rock and something else I can’t quite describe.” Broadway World

“Their sound is proudly rudimentary and anarchic, no-nonsense tales and humorous homespun eulogies to island life, roughly hewn from their history, traditions and upbringing.” The Herald
