9.30 am – 11.30am (morning session), 12.30pm – 2.30pm (afternoon session) | Tickets £2.50 | Brewery Arts: Theatre
Join celebrated children’s poet and acclaimed performer Matt Abbott for a spoken word poetry performance bonanza! Pupils will be shown how to bring their poems to life and boost their confidence when it comes to public speaking in general.
With a range of exercises based on pacing, diction, and tone, pupils will learn to get the most out of the text that they’re sharing. There’ll also be a writing-based exercise that will help smaller groups of pupils to create example poems for them to then perform during the workshop.
A dynamic, accessible workshop to inject fun into poetry and performance!
Tickets £2.50 per pupil. Schools should choose either the morning session or the afternoon session.
