Kendal Mountain Festival is the ultimate social gathering for outdoor enthusiasts – with a world-class programme of films and talks from international adventurers and authors. And it happens right here in Kendal! If you love the outdoors then this is your chance to indulge your passion.
Films are at the heart of the Festival with around 150 films screened over the four days. These include both feature films and short-film collections, many of which are World, European or UK premieres. Filmmakers are drawn to Kendal and many will be presenting their films in person. Alongside this will be a programme of top guest speakers from the world of outdoor, over 25 book events, two stages of free Basecamp Talks, panel discussions and parties!
Brewery Arts has a long-running partnership with the Festival and we’re proud to once more be hosting many of the events over the weekend.

All our ticket prices include a 50p-£1 commission. This fee helps us continue to fund our diverse programme. Creative learning classes & workshops are exempt.
Audio Description (AD) is available in Screen 1. Infrared audio system is available in both Cinema Screens 1 and 2. Induction loops (T) are in place in the Theatre, please ask for assistance on the door.
Some live events may carry strict age restrictions, these are outlined on our website. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult at all times during evening events.
