Kendal College Performing & Production Arts presents… Half A Sixpence!

A completely fresh adaptation by Julian Fellowes (creator of Downton Abbey) and the musical team behind Mary Poppins. The score has many tunes you will know from ‘Flash Bang Wallop’, ‘Money To Burn’ and of course, ‘Half A Sixpence’ made famous by Tommy Steel.

This new version is fast-paced, packed with great characters, comedy, amazing dance routines and of course – those songs!

This is another challenging production for the Performing Arts and Technical Theatre team at Kendal College who have built a reputation for bringing quality West End-style shows to Brewery Arts. This show promises to bring the roof down!

The plot follows Arthur Kipps, an overworked draper’s assistant who unexpectedly inherits a fortune that propels him into high society and with it all the problems that entail. With the help of his friends, Arthur learns that if you want to have the chance of living the right life, you need to make the right choices.
