Nature Writing for Future Generations

This event celebrates nature writing for future generations and consists of two engaging talks, ‘Illustrating Nature’ and ‘Youth Climate Action’, featuring authors and illustrators including Dara McAnulty, Kiran Millwood Hargrave, M. G. Leonard, as well as previous Wainwright Prize winners. With even more guests to be announced in the upcoming weeks, grab your tickets before they go!
In Celebration of Conservation

In a celebration of this vital genre within nature writing, the Wainwright Prize will be running two inspiring talks, ‘Healing our Ecosystems’ and ‘Relocating our Roots’. Hosted by a soon-to-be-announced conservation expert and Wainwright Prize judge, this event will feature prominent authors including Charles Clover, Guy Shrubsole, Gaia Vince, and Fiona Mathews and Tim Kendall.
The Legacy and Future of Nature Writing
4.30-6.30pm
To mark the tenth year of the Wainwright Prize which has flourished in popularity over the last decade, this event will focus on both the rich legacy and hopeful future of nature writing – the stand-out books, the titans of the genre, the newcomers, and those changing and diversifying the genre for the better. This celebratory event will bring together previous winners, including Amy Liptrot and James Aldred, past and present Wainwright Prize judges, and shortlisted authors including Elizabeth-Jane Burnett and Amy-Jane Beer.
