Phil:
Whether it’s comedy clubs or corporate events PHIL WALKER is a comedian for all occasions. Phil`s career has seen him perform in a scout hut in Unst ( Shetland Isles ) to a portacabin on Mount Alice ( Falkland Islands ), basically he`ll go anywhere for a laugh! Phil is proud to have entertained over 4000 troops on tours in war torn Afghanistan as which he describes as, “I`ve played to some tough crowds in my time but they where never armed with machine guns before. Thank God they liked me!” His act has become a firm favorite with the armed forces and also seen him perform in Kosovo, Kuwait, Bosnia and Germany.

Phil started his career on the tough holiday park circuit working for  Butlins. At the turn of the millennium he decided a change of direction was needed in order for him to progress, so after an open spot at Manchester’s Frog & Bucket comedy club he turned his attentions to the now burgeoning circuit. Within a very short space of time he was voted City Life Comedian Of The Year, at the famous Comedy Store in Manchester Previous winners include Peter Kay & Steve Coogan .
As well as regular gigs at the Comedy Store where he was also part of the successful M.E.N. At Work topical improv nights, Phil has become a headline act at most of the leading comedy clubs throughout the country including the Jongleurs comedy club chain, Highlight comedy, The Stand, The Last laugh, The Frog and Bucket, Komedia, The Hyena, Comedy central.
Festival performances include one hour shows at Liverpool, Manchester, Brighton, Southport, Sheffield and the 2012 Edinburgh Fringe Festival where he received four star critical acclaim for his show “Is This It?

He’s also a dab hand at panto for various employers including Stage World Wide Productions. If you’re stuck for an Idle Jack, Simon, Wishee Washee, Billy or a Buttons then Phil is your man.

“Phil Walker radiates an infectious, cheeky energy. He is as comfortable with stand-up as he is with audience interaction, employing Usain-quick wit,He keeps running jokes alive with perfect timing.”  Three Weeks Edinburgh ****

With a warm and engaging delivery, he is a Yorkshire live wire with an undeniable no nonsense logic. In demand by many of the big clubs, Scott delivers wry observations on the absurdity of modern living. His sharply written routines have been delighting audiences across the country. In 2013 he was selected to perform in the prestigious Big Value showcase show for Just The Tonic at the Edinburgh fringe, the show has previously been a springboard to success for many household names including Jason Manford and Sarah Millican.

A versatile and confident performer Scott regularly appears at many of established clubs including; Glee, Jongleurs, Highlight, Just the Tonic, Ten Feet Tall, Funhouse Comedy, Buzz Comedy, Frog and Bucket, Baby Blue, Hilarity Bites and many other independents. MC Jonnthan Mayor:

Jonthan Mayor sets the stage alight with his razor sharp audience banter and stunning charisma. But don’t be fooled by the glitter and glamour,  [Jonathan Mayor] underneath lies an intelligent line of socio-political humour, from a unique and fascinating perspective, He will reduce any audience to hysterics whether they are erudite, Radio 4 listeners or the drunkest Friday night crowd.

A flamboyant and charismatic performer, when Jonathan arrives, its Showtime, engaging the audience both on and off-stage. He is one of the few acts who will not only perform when the stage lights are on, but also wander among the crowd, chatting and charming – truly “hosting” the night. These qualities have ensured that Jonathan is, in either role, one of the UK’s most popular choices with audiences and promoters alike. He also receives requests for appearances at events that vary wildly in nature, such as burlesque shows, cabaret nights, Pride Events, biker festivals, corporate occasions, street theatre, balls, weddings, civil partnerships, birthday parties and poetry nights.

Jonathan is so much more than a stand-up comedian, he is an exciting, enticing, all consuming experience in himself.
