Chris Brooker

A gifted performer, Chris Brooker has taken his unique mix of comedy and improvisation to stages all over the world. After a decade on the UK comedy circuit, Chris has forged a fine reputation for himself as a stand-up comedian and compère. His versatility has seen him play to audiences of all sizes and backgrounds, winning them over with his infectious enthusiasm, swift wit and immense likeability. Dubbed comedy’s ginger Viking by a promoter, he really is a larger-than-life character.

One of comedy’s heavy hitters, Chris Brooker’s infectious energy and enthusiasm sweeps through a room like an irresistible force. Chris’ combination of hilarious, original material and inspired improvisation mean that you will never see the same routine twice.

“Very funny, very quick… On-the-spot humour.” BBC

“The best act of the night, his quick wit silencing hecklers and getting plenty of laughs.” Manchester Evening News

“The revelation of the night. Spot on.” Now Toronto

Russell Arathoon

Russel’s first gig was at the notorious King Gong at the Manchester Comedy Store. He went on to win it and then followed it up later that year with a semi final appearance in the Manchester Comedian Of The Year Competition. Now residing in London, Russell is regularly popping up at prestigious clubs such as Top Secret & Up The Creek, as well as sharing the stage with acts such as Joe Lycett, Sean Walsh and even the chatty man himself Alan Carr.

In 2018 Russell made his Edinburgh Fringe debut with his critically acclaimed show ‘The Curious Incidents Of The Gay In The Night Time’. Since then Russell has gone on to perform at festivals all over the country including Leicester, Nottingham, Manchester & Brighton. He even appeared on the Glee Cardiff Pride Stage alongside Robert White in 2019.
Russell is a likeable act who the audience instantly warm to. With his sharp and cheeky material Russell is a perfect act for any live audience.

Pete Otway

Since his first gig in 2010, Pete Otway has established himself quickly as a natural and original comic, known for mixing a razor sharp wit with an affable charm and creative writing. After making it to the finals of the BBC New Comedy Award in 2012, he was chosen to perform at the Edinburgh Fringe as part of Just The Tonic’s prestigious Big Value Showcase in 2013.

Whilst regularly appearing at some of the biggest and best comedy clubs across the UK, both as an MC and an act, Pete has also performed at large festivals such as the Isle Of Wight, gigged across Europe, and provided support for touring acts such as Doc Brown.

“Brilliant. Very, very funny” Steve Wright, BBC Radio 2

“Amiable, cheeky, classic stand-up” Liverpool Echo

Stephanie Laing

Stephanie started performing in April 2007 on the Scottish comedy circuit. She quickly established herself as one of the most promising acts of her generation on the comedy scene, and in 2015 appeared as a finalist in the prestigious Leicester Mercury Comedian Of The Year competition. Stephanie is best described as goofy and peculiar, and her comedy is partway between the needy oddness of Maria Bamford and the upbeat affability of Josie Long. Her material is a mix of silliness, filth and unusual observations, underpinned by a disarming honesty which makes her seem charmingly vulnerable.

Now a regular on the circuit, Stephanie has also become a stalwart of comedy festivals across the country having appeared at Brighton Fringe, Leicester Comedy Festival, York Comedy Festival, Bath Comedy Festival, Women in Comedy Festival as well as appearing at the Edinburgh Fringe every year since 2010.
