Ricky Balshaw
BBC New Comedy Award semi-finalist Ricky is a former Paralympic, Word Championship and European Championship dressage medalist, and sports pundit turned stand-up comedian, with a penchant for dark humour. Join Ricky for a reliably twisted and hilarious look at disability, riding horses and navigating through worlds he really shouldn’t have been in.
As seen on BBC One, BBC Three and Channel 4.
Peter Brush
A highly distinctive performer and deft writer of finely crafted jokes, Peter Brush unassumingly takes the stage with his slight bespectacled frame and scruffy hair, before consummately conquering it with an arsenal of razor-sharp quirky one-liners and peerlessly original routines, all delivered in an amusingly awkward fashion.
Formerly a BBC New Comedy Award finalist, and winner of Harrogate Comedian of the Year, Peter performs at clubs all over the UK and occasionally abroad. He has also written for BBC Radio 4’s ‘The News Quiz’, ‘The Show What You Wrote’ and ‘Newsjack’ and was the tour support for Alexei Sayle’s 2020 show, other acts he has supported on tour include Jonathan Pie, Jason Manford, Arthur Smith and Paul Sinha.
★★★★½ ”Compellingly hilarious.. first-class gag writing… an original and achingly funny voice” Chortle
”I love Peter Brush, what a comic” Jason Manford
Dave Williams
Dave has been a full time comedian since 1998, and whilst he isn’t famous, he hasn’t starved to death either… So he must be OK at it. He is a well-travelled comedian and MC who works regularly for the major players including Comedy Store, Frog and Bucket, Comedy Clubs, ROFL. He has gigged in Australia, UAE and Asia. He also runs the Frog and Bucket’s 8-week comedy course and offers one-to-one coaching.
“A fine original comic mind, always surprising the audience with his wit.” Edinburgh Evening News
“Inspired one-liners punctuated with surreal nonsense.” Manchester Evening News
Jon Pearson
Jon began stand up comedy in 2010, with his first performance at Birmingham’s Highlight Comedy Club. Cut to nine years later and Jon has become a regular face on the circuit, performing at prestigious clubs such as The Glee, The Boat Show, Up The Creek, Last Laugh, Laughterhouse. Jon’s career has even taken him overseas with performances in Spain, Norway and even as far away as Wigan (it is like being on another planet).
Jon has also provided tour support for Darren Harriot on his UK 2018/2019 tour and Lucy Porter on her UK 2017 tour.
His laid back storytelling has audiences hanging on his every word, with tales based around his own life experiences, his anecdotes are relatable and certain to have people in hysterics.
