Performed by members of Brewery Youth Arts in partnership with Kirkbie Kendal School, Alice is a contemporary re-telling of the Wonderland story by award-winning playwright Laura Wade.
Alice is coming to terms with the death of her brother and in a state of anxiety escapes into the imaginary world of Wonderland, where she meets the amazing characters – the Queen of Hearts, the Mad Hatter and the White Rabbit – that have made this tale so popular for 150 years.
Bringing to life the darker, gothic elements of Christmas, this is a show for audiences of 10+ and contains some strong language.
'In Laura Wade's engaging new version of Lewis Carrol's Alice in Wonderland a classic is given a wonderfully ingenious twist.' Lynne Walker, The Independent
'Laura Wade grabs hold of Lewis Carrol's classic and runs in this furiously inventive adaptation' David Jays, Sunday Times
Reccommeded Age: 10+ (contains strong language)
Venue: Theatre
