Featured gigs:

Jenny Sturgeon with Patsy Reid
13 September

Jenny Sturgeon is an award-winning Scottish folk singer-songwriter, sound artist, and producer. Highly regarded for her observational, contemporary songs, Jenny blends field recordings with sonic and lyrical imagery, producing songs and compositions that explore themes of nature, folklore, and our connection with the landscape. Jenny will be joined by fiddle and viola player Patsy Reid.

Nadia Reid
19 September

Singer-songwriter Nadia Reid performs an intimate, stripped-back solo show, playing songs from her latest LP, Enter Now Brightness.

Originating in New Zealand and now settled in Manchester, Reid’s music too has shifted and evolved, moving from her folk roots into a ruminative strand of indie-pop, and a sound that is both poised and expansive. This is a rare opportunity to see one of the rising stars of indie music perform in a solo setting.

Kim Carnie
26 September

Celebrated for her “velvet-voiced authority” (The Scotsman), Kim Carnie blends traditional Gaelic roots with cinematic, contemporary soundscapes. One of Scotland’s most compelling musical voices, performing with her own band, as well as the lead singer of the multi-award-winning band Mànran and a founding member of the experimental folk ensemble Staran, Kim’s voice has captivated audiences worldwide—on stage and screen alike.

Hello Cosmos
11 October

Hello Cosmos are more than a band; they are a noisy, joyful collision of music, art, and collective energy. Born in Cumbria and based in Manchester, they are powered by a core creative family — Ben Robinson (co-founder of Kendal Calling), Simon Robinson, Angela Chan (Placebo), Isaac Dobson (Vacant Weekend) and a rotating crew of sonic conspirators. They deliver genre-defying alt-rock infused with post-punk grit, electronic chaos, and bold social commentary.

MY BABY
18 October

Dutch-New Zealand band MY BABY perform their infectious brand of blues, country, funk and soul-infused music.

In their latest LP ‘Echo’, the myth of Echo and Narcissus is retold – not rewritten, but finally heard from her perspective. The songs convey a world of shadows and reverberations, of words lost and returned, of a love that could never be reciprocated.

MY BABY’s sound and live shows both hark back to the glory days of 70’s groove-laden genre-spanning productions, while also being something unmistakably fresh.

Dub Princess & Hotsteppas
1 November

Two of the most exciting names in the contemporary UK dub scene collide for an unmissable high-energy night of deep dub music. Expect soulful, sun-drenched vibes, and downtempo grooves providing the perfect backdrop for Dub Princess’s reflective lyricism.

Already gaining respect as one of the biggest names on the UK dub scene, Dub Princess’s ever-evolving soundscape is reinforcing her position as a powerful voice in the international underground scene and a bridge between genres, cultures, and communities.
