Ocean with David Attenborough

7 June | 3.15pm

Celebrate World Ocean Day and David Attenborough’s 100th birthday with a breathtaking cinematic journey beneath the waves. Drawing on a lifetime of discovery, the film explores the beauty and importance of the ocean, from vibrant coral reefs to vast open waters.

Confronting the threats facing marine ecosystems while showcasing stories of recovery and resilience, Ocean with David Attenborough offers a hopeful vision for the future of our blue planet and a timely reminder of the vital role our oceans play in sustaining life on Earth.

Our Land

5 June | 3.45pm (Matinee)
10 June | 3.45pm (Matinee)
11 June | 7.30pm (+ Q&A Panel Discussion)

A powerful journey across England’s hidden boundaries, Our Land traces the growing right to roam movement and the people campaigning for greater access to the countryside.

Following activists as they organise public trespasses onto private land, the film brings together voices from both sides of a long-standing debate. As questions of access, ownership and environmental stewardship become increasingly urgent, Our Land asks who truly has the right to the land beneath our feet.

Join us for the special screening on 11 June, followed by a panel discussion exploring the themes raised in the film and their relevance to communities today.

Melt

20 June | 5pm

Journey across some of the world’s most fragile frozen landscapes as communities adapt to a rapidly changing climate. From Alpine glaciers to Antarctica, Melt captures the beauty and vulnerability of environments shaped by snow and ice.

As seasons shift and ancient glaciers retreat, the film offers a striking portrait of a world disappearing before our eyes, while highlighting the resilience of the people living on the frontlines of environmental change.

Melt is part of the UK Green Film Festival at Brewery Arts.

Missing Rio Doce

27 June | 6pm

Nine years after Brazil’s worst environmental disaster, Missing Rio Doce follows a journey along the Rio Doce River, revealing the lasting impact of toxic pollution on communities, ecosystems and livelihoods.
