The Fastest Bicycle + Director Q&A

The Fastest Bicycle tells the incredible story of Sir Roger Bannister’s grandson, Barney Townsend, and his team’s attempt to break the World Human Powered Vehicle land speed record at Battle Mountain, Nevada – a staggering 89.5 mph. At its heart, it’s a powerful story of perseverance, community, and discovering that your fiercest competitors can also be your greatest allies.

The screening will be followed by a post-film Q&A with double BAFTA-winning director Michael B. Clifford.

Warren Miller’s Sno-Ciety

Bring on winter with Warren Miller’s Sno-Ciety, a high-energy celebration of the spirit of winter, wherever you ride, and however you connect to the snow and the community around it. From big mountain lines and race gates to urban ski hills and unexpected destinations, the film takes audiences on a global journey.

The film features an inspiring mix of Olympians, urban riders, and local legends, including Daron Rahlves, Britta Winans, Sarka Panacochova, Breezy Johnson, and more.

Fires and Fascism + Director Q&A

Fires and Fascism explores why wildfires across southern Europe are becoming larger and more intense, looking beyond climate change to the social and environmental pressures shaping our landscapes. Through stories from communities on the frontline, the film highlights the power of collective action, rewilding, and deeper connections with nature in building resilience and hope in the face of growing threats.

The screening will be followed by a post-film Q&A with director Dr Pete Knapp, who brings a background in air quality and a unique journey from academia to storytelling.

A Thousand Words + Director Q&A

Following in the footsteps of legendary mountaineer and photographer Vittorio Sella, Dom Bush and Matt Sharman travel to Nepal to recreate the first-ever photograph of Mount Everest – taken 125 years ago. Using a large-format camera they’ve never used before, the team attempt to stand in the exact spot Sella did in 1899. What could possibly go wrong?

The screening will be followed by a live Q&A with Cumbrian directors Dom Bush and Matt Sharman.

3,000 Feet + Director Q&A 

26 February | 7pm | Tickets £14

This film tells the remarkable story of Hugh Munro, the man whose name became forever linked with Scotland’s highest mountains. Set against a time of major change in the Highlands, it explores how early mountaineering brought together science, culture, and a shared love of the landscape.

Today, Munro’s list of mountains over 3,000 feet remains a lasting part of Scotland’s outdoor heritage. It’s inspired generations of people to explore and connect with the hills.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with director Kevin Woods and producer Lindsay Hill.
