Brewery Arts announces departure of CEO Miriam Randall to join Awen Cultural Trust in September

Today (Friday 19 June), Brewery Arts announces that Miriam Randall will be stepping down as CEO & Artistic Director at the end of August to take up a new leadership position at Awen Cultural Trust in Wales.

Over the past seven years, Miriam has successfully led Brewery Arts, navigating the challenges of the pandemic, overseeing a major capital project, building strategic partnerships, and working with the team to connect over 100,000 people each year with exceptional arts and culture.

Miriam said: “I have greatly enjoyed my time at Brewery Arts and am deeply grateful to the artists, staff, Board members, and volunteers who have made the many fantastic achievements of the past seven years possible. There is an excellent team in place and strong plans for the future, and I look forward to seeing the organisation continue to thrive.”

Adrian Leather, Chair of the Board at Brewery Arts, said: “Miriam has made an exceptional contribution to Brewery Arts over the past seven years. Her leadership, creativity and resilience – particularly through the challenges of the pandemic, has positively positioned the organisation and expanded our reach and ambition.

On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank her for her dedication and wish her every success in her new role. We are confident that the Brewery is in a strong position for the future, with a talented team, supported by our partners and loyal communities.”

The Board has begun the process of planning for leadership succession and will announce further details in due course.
