Kendal Pride x Kendal Mountain Festival

Published on 5th June 2025
To celebrate this year’s Kendal Pride (13 – 15 June) and stand in solidarity with the local LGBTQIA+ community, Kendal Mountain Festival is proudly supporting an evening of Queer-led films, hosted at Brewery Arts on Friday 13 June.

On-screen representation is important. People being able to see themselves represented positively in the media helps give them the space to be themselves and feel part of a community. Queer films, especially during Pride, are a meaningful part of cinema. They celebrate the diverse experiences within the LGBTQIA+ community and remind us of the importance of sharing and hearing these stories.

These inspirational adventure films will take you around the world with tales of endurance and bravery, transcending fear and redefining inclusivity. Get ready for a fantastic evening.
