The composer and singer performs music from her highly anticipated new album Limbs, released in February 2022, plus songs from her debut album Debris and EP Photograph. Described as “one of the most remarkable [albums] in years” by The Sunday Times, Forsyth’s debut album Debris, released in January 2020 and written in collaboration with pianist and composer Matthew Bourne, was met with unanimously positive critical acclaim. Built upon sparse arrangements, Forsyth’s music is centred around a singular, emotionally raw and magnetic vocal delivery, by turns devastating and uplifting.

Her songs tell of high and low tides, of freedom and entrapment, of hard-won triumphs and the darker corners of domestic life. New album Limbs sees Forsyth expand on Debris’ intoxicating sound palette. Understated but devastating, Debris’ success led to a transformation as the songs were brought to the stage. Forsyth is an innate performer and anyone who has seen her mesmerising live shows can testify to their raw power, with a standout set at last year’s End of the Road festival described as “arguably the weekend’s most striking performance” by Loud and Quiet

“This deeply melancholic brand of haunting, sparse folk is as intoxicating as it is unsettling” 4/5 Q

“Reminiscent of Nico, or Karen Dalton, Beth Gibbons at the edges – leaving the deepest impression” 4/5 MOJO
